2009 NTC Registration is Closed!

Since April 21st, the registration for the 2009 NTC has been closed.

Conference site capacity and fire code limits have been reached, so no more registration is possible.

On behalf of the DHHIG, The 2009 National Training Conference Event Committee welcomes you to the DHHIG NTC 2009 Event Information website. We are very excited to share with you the news about the 12th National Training Conference which will be held at the Gallaudet University Kellogg Conference Hotel (GUKCH) from May 5 to May 7, 2009. Gallaudet University is where the first National Training Conference was held in 1994. A complete history of National Training Conference is posted on the DHHIG website. The 2009 NTC theme is “Climbing Ladders of Opportunity".

The NTC Event Information website is designed to provide you with all the information about the conference so we encourage you to use it to the fullest extent possible. We encourage you to bookmark the website and come back daily to get the frequent updates that we will be posting as the conference date gets closer.

All Steering Committee members are volunteers working on the planning of the conference - on top of their full-time jobs and personal responsibilities. With this in mind, please understand the limitations placed on availability but all committee members are committed to make this conference the best one ever.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has released a memo recognizing DHHIG's 2009 National Training Conference which will be held at the Gallaudet University Kellogg Conference Hotel from May 5 to May 7, 2009.

The OPM memo indicates that this three day conference qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41. The training is open to all Federal, State and Local government employees, contractors and any other interested participants.
